Cape Fear Fest is a street festival hosted by the Lillington Area Chamber of Commerce which is offered free to the public.
Throughout the day there will be a variety of street vendors, children’s rides, and various entertainments. After the non
commercial food vendors have left around 5 p.m., there will be an evening concert offered to the public.

This is the second year that the Lillington Area
Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Cape Fear
Fest. It is our desire to make this event bigger and
better each year. This year the Chamber will be
hosting a concert series after the festival, and we
have also set a goal of collecting 10,000 pounds
of canned food items to donate to the Harnett
Food Pantry. We ask everyone in the surrounding
areas to participate, and we will be weighing the
food at the end of the night to determine if we met
our goal, or if we surpassed it. We look forward to
an awesome event, and we hope that this is only
just the beginning for the Cape Fear Fest as we
look to only make it bigger and better in the years
to come!
