Dear Readers,
Happy Spring!!! What a wonderful time of the year after the
harsh winter we had. There are signs of spring popping up
everywhere and the days are longer and much warmer.
With spring comes the sweet taste of a big, fat, juicy strawberry.
Check out the recipes you can prepare using our locally grown
berries.
I had the pleasure of meeting Chaz Lamb a few months ago and
what a surprise!!! He is a local artist that has mastered the art
of cutting designs from metal. I am sure you will find it just as
interesting as I did. Be sure to read his story and you just might
want to contact him for the next gift giving occasion.
Camp Grace is working hard to get ready for their busy season
with summer just around the corner. If you are searching for
something to keep the kids busy this summer check out the
article on Camp Grace. They also have a family fishing day
coming up in June so that would be a good time to visit the
camp with your entire family.
On April 27th the Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater has
a spectacular event planned with the 3 Redneck Tenors. Check
out their ad for times and ticket information.
We have a lot of interesting stories in this issue so sit back,
relax and enjoy. Please take time to thank our advertisers for
your free magazine and to support them whenever possible.
As always............thanks for reading!
