1/2 teaspoon salt 1 to 2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon vanilla
8 ounces of water
Put cooked rice in a layer on bottom of greased baking dish
Boil the water and pour over the salt and soda and gargle. and dot with butter. Sprinkle nutmeg over this. Beat eggs
well and add the milk, sugar and vanilla and beat again.
“American Home” Refrigerated Cookies Pour this over rice mixture and bake slowly at 350 degrees
4 Cups Flour until it is set. When baked it will have a layer of rice on the
1 teaspoon baking powder bottom and shimmering baked custard on top.
