Great things are happening at the COMtech Busi-
ness Park. Recently, Riverwood Pre-Elementary
Learning Center located at COMtech was given
the prestigious Beautification Award handed out

annually at the Pembroke Area Chamber of Com-
merce annual banquet. The banquet was held on
February 1st at the Annex Building on the campus
of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and
this year’s theme for the banquet was Havana Nights.

various local businesses and individuals. Owners
and operators of Riverwood are Les and Kim No-
ble. Kim has shown an intense desire to create a top-
notch childhood learning center at Riverwood and
her passion for the welfare and betterment of the
children and staff are obvious every time you walk
through the doors of Riverwood Pre-Elementary. If
you have a need for childcare in the Pembroke area
there is no better choice than Riverwood.
