                                                                                     Pictured Below: Winner Winner,
                                                                                    chicken dinner! The popular 50-50
brings the smiles out each month

HASA members put on a spread at every event and offer a cash
bar for members and guests. In non-COVID years members
bring side dishes and desserts to complement the main entrée
or the heavy hors d’ oeuvres, but currently, the organization is
      allowing no outside food.

HASA also focuses on giving back to the community; the club
sponsors a toy drive at Christmas and contributes to various
local charities, including the DUMA food pantry, Shrinettes,
Shrine Children’s Hospital and S.A.F.E. of Harnett County.

Part of the National Fast Dance Association and the Associa-
tion of Carolina Shag Clubs, HASA club members become
lifelong friends. They often travel to other shag clubs in Fay-
etteville, Clinton, Goldsboro, Mt. Olive, etc. North Myrtle
Beach. Likewise, dancers come from many different places to
      frequent HASA parties.

Some dancers take the hobby to the next level and compete.
