Winding Down Summer & Adjusting to a New Routine…
Topically: essential oils can be used “neat” directly on the skin, however carrier oil may be necessary for hot and
warm oils. Always read the dilution instructions on the label. (Read below about hot and warm oils). Some citrus-
based oils are photosensitive.
Internally: essential oils can be taken in a vegetable capsule, added to water to enhance flavor or add flavor to our
meal. Always read the product label for usage.
Essential Oils are categorized by potency, being labeled hot, warm and cool oils. Such hot or warm oils can be diluted
based upon it cultivation process using v-6 vegetable oil, olive oil, coconut oil, or shea butter, and can be applied directly
to a point of pain. Oils can also be used simply for their aromatic benefits.
How to Create a Routine for Your Essential Oils?
• Energy Boost in the AM: place a drop of orange and lemon in the palms of your hand, rub together, inhale/exhale
for 30 seconds.
• Flavoring water or cutting the cravings: add a few drops of lemon, jade lemon, lime, grapefruit (*not for people on
blood pressure medicine)
• Zoom into Homework in the afternoon/evening: diffusing lavender and oregano, wintergreen, spearmint, or
lemongrass enhances brain activity.
• Long days or calming evenings: diffuse stress away, citrus fresh or joy
• Aches and Pains from a workout: Cool Azul Pain Relief Cream is perfect after a hard workout, and diffusing
panaway or deep relief for a restful sleep.
• Night time ritual for Oily Skin/Pimples: apply a few drops (dilute as instructed) frankincense, lavender, roman
chamomile and geranium to cleanse the skin.
