bellies. During this time, I remember being a little girl and watching Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving and it reminds me of how
Marcie said it best from A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, “But Thanksgiving is more than eating, Chuck.
You heard what Linus was saying out there. Those early Pilgrims were thankful for what had happened
to them, and we should be thankful too. We should just be thankful for being together. I think that’s

History of Essential Oils
“Essential oils are gaining worldwide recognition for their versatility, but their use is not new. The use of botanicals as
healing agents is a long-standing practice throughout human history. In fact, essential oils and other botanicals have
been used in wellness practices as early as at least 5,000 years ago” - says researchers from Young Living. As we
continually read in the Bible or other historical books, people have naturally healed themselves before hospitals and
doctors were even around.
Recently, many of us fight the medical insurance racket and want to do better in how we care for ourselves and our
body. Essential oils show their trace in history around the same time as herbal medicine and magical practices. Herbs
and essential oils were used in most ancient cultures by way of plant-based materials, using the entire plant. “In most
ancient cultures, people believed plants to be magical, and for thousands of years herbs were used as much for ritual
as they were for medicine and food.”
