If you need homemade cookies for the holidays or are
looking for the perfect gift for a teacher, co-worker, or
neighbor, the Sweet Shoppe at Chestnut Street United
Methodist Church is the place for you. Just in time for
the holidays, the Sweet Shoppe offers homemade cook-
ies and candies. Goodies are sold by the pound. Your
selections may even be packaged in 1/2 lb. or 1 lb. boxes
with bows, so Christmas shopping is accomplished in
one delicious stop.
The cookie selection is deliciously varied, including dec-
orated Christmas cookies, Christmas Cracker Candy,
Ginger Snaps, and traditional favorites like chocolate
chip and oatmeal raisin. Old fashion chocolate fudge,
lemon squares, and specialty items such as peanut but-
ter Christmas mice and Christmas wreaths are among
the many choices.
For the last five years, the Sweet Shoppe has support-
ed a variety of local missions. Most recently, the Sweet
Shoppe has contributed its proceeds to Disaster Relief
for those affected by Hurricane Matthew. Get your
Christmas season off to a great start and give back to
the community in one sweet stop at the Sweet Shoppe.
