Beef Stew

Directions: Where our Village
In a large pot heat 3 tsp of oil then whisk in flour and
pepper mix. Toss in the meat and coat with flour and cook RESIDENTS ARE FAMILY!
until meat is browned. Remove meat and set aside. In the
same pot add red wine stirring to loosen brown bits. Add Celebrating our 40th year!!
back in the meat, beef broth and bay leaves. Bring to a boil
then reduce to simmer. Add paprika and Worcestershire
sauce. Cook until meat is tender ( about 1 1/2 hours). Add
in onion and carrots simmer for 10 minutes. Add sweet
potato and rutabaga and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve
with warm crispy French bread.
