GOAT PROJECT
Bringing Jesus Christ to Rwanda
By Danette Rogers
We have had about fifty people who have received Christ
as a direct result of help from the GOAT Project. We have
received testimonies from people who were considering
suicide due to the pressure of having no food and no hope
being saved. We have helped Muslim families who now
allow their children to attend our children’s crusade and
learn about Jesus.
In January 2018 God laid it on my heart to start this proj-
ect. I did not start it immediately. God persisted. I started
the Facebook page in March 2018 having no idea the im-
pact that it would have on others. I can truly say that it has
impacted me more that I could have ever imagined. It has
become my passion. God has provided many trustworthy
contacts on the ground in Rwanda. They literally go door
to door sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When desperate
situations present themselves, they send me the stories and
I post them, and God sends help. Over and over, I have seen
God move and send resources.
Our latest connection is with an animal sanctuary in Rwan-
da. They have twenty dairy goats that need a forever home.
Prior to me receiving this contact I received a message from
