Grilling gives summertime a special meaning for many peo-
      ple – especially when it comes to food. Those savory whiffs
      of barbecuing might call to mind burgers and drumsticks,
      but don’t forget the sweet smell of seared, steamed or skew-
      ered garden-fresh vegetables to make those colorful, flavor-
      ful side dishes too.

      veggie sides like grilled corn on the cob or crunchy cole-

      1     garlic clove, crushed                                1     small red cabbage, grated
      1     tablespoon parsley, chopped                          1     cup peas
      1     tablespoon oregano, chopped                          3     spring onions, sliced diagonally
      salt, to taste                                             1     cup coriander, chopped
      freshly ground pepper, to taste
      6     corn cobs                                            Dressing:

      lime                                                       1     garlic clove, finely minced
                                                                 3     tablespoons olive oil
      Preheat oven to 350 F or heat grill to medium.             1/4  cup wine vinegar
