Harnett County native Riley Adkins was among those onboard the Pelagic Hunter II during the 62nd annual Big Rock Blue
Marlin Tournament in Morehead City. The FIVE hour fight was worth the WEIGHT for this crew of four! PELAGIC HUNTER
II, of Sneads Ferry, won first place in the tournament with a 495.2-pound blue marlin. They walked away with $206,688 for
their level I win and an additional $16,575 for winning the outboard division. Pelagic Hunter II was the first outboard to win the
tournament since 1962. Those onboard the Pelagice Hunter II were Norman Bowen, Kyle Kirkpatrick, Riley Adkins and Captain
John Cruise III.
