a fan for the HVAC technician who repaired the air con-
ditioner. Blair has enjoyed making the cards and said she
hopes the people who receive them feel the same way she
did upon receiving that first card from Mrs. Taylor.

“Every one of them means something when I send them,”
Blair said, stressing the point that it’s truly the thought that
counts. “It doesn’t have to be intricate to tell somebody
that you love them, or that you’re proud of them, or that
they did something special.”
