Jonathan pivots from music arts to the cultural in making
American Indian traditional arts and crafts such as dreamcatch-
ers and naturalist items with his father, marketing at shows and
festivals at least 10 times a year. He also enjoys spending time
with long-time soulmate Kimberly, grilling out good food and
gardening.
What’s next for a musician who has found happiness and suc-
cess doing exactly what he always wanted to do? “I am really
happy right where I am,” he said, but to this query added, “It
would be nice to be a session guitarist on the national level or
play at the Carolina Opry in Myrtle Beach.”
What about the Grand Ole Opry? “That would work, too!” was
the quick quip from this easy-to-please fellow who dared to
dream big and carve out a niche that ― just like Goldilocks
said ― “is just right.”
